For our first experience held in France, we had the opportunity to develop our artistic material over practically two weeks. 

Two weeks to experiment, test and hone our insights, our “protocols”, our “encounters”, our “gifts.” 

There are so many ways to go out and explore a locality and its people… like the area around the Hainaut Square in Condé-sur-Escaut or at the heart of the Ballanger estate in Fresnes-sur Escaut. Thirsty for knowledge, keen to immerse ourselves and to be “accepted” for a few days or even hours in places where we should perhaps never have set foot. We were intrepid explorers of reality. 

To live, as intensly as possible, a moment with those who turn a corner in a street, go to a park or botanical garden… for the good reason that each year the Turbulances festival takes place in Vieux-Condé. Encounters that may sometimes have been fleeting, but also unforgettable.
